In 1997, Uniart used to be an exclusive subcontractor/ manufacturer of a French exporter. However, due to financial difficulties, the company gradually lessens the orders until it stopped. Nevertheless, by October 2008, Uniart Home Decors and Furniture was established. It was formerly known before as Azares Metal Works, but because of its Unique and Artistic design of products, the company decided to rebrand the name to Uniart.

At first, it was tough but Uniart tested the waters and started producing and selling its own products locally. Through the years, the company continuously increased its capability and expanded the business. There are now two branches of store, the one is located at Bldg. C Unit CB 23-25, Tiendesitas, Pasig City and the other is at 3F New Home Market, Market! Market! Mall, Bonifacio Global City, City of Taguig.

Uniart can also be seen through different bazaars. Regularly participating with GTH Christmas Bazaar in City of Malolos; .Panagbenga Festival Bazaar in Baguio City; Festival Mall Alabang; Manila FAME; Likha ng Central Luzon Trade Fair by DTI in Mega Trade Hall in SM Megamall and Noel Christmas Bazaar of GMA 7 at the World Trade Center.

Today, Uniart go beyond its capacity and growth. Being known locally and now starting to have foreign clients and exporting products globally.
